Built Clubs
How
we build your Custom Golf Club
1.
We have the customer hit balls and we check swing speed, tempo, ability
and any physical problems.
2.
From this we determine shaft flex, length, shaft material (steel or
graphite), lie angle and grip size.
| 3.
Club heads are weighed to ensure the consistent graduation in grams
between heads. This applies whether we are using new components
or rebuilding pro line equipment. |
 |
4. Shafts are
deflection matched on a Flexmaster to ensure that every shaft in the
set is exactly the same strength. This is accomplished by butt trimming
each shaft to the desired strength. At the same time each shaft has
the spine aligned.

| 5.
The shafts are butt cut to strength, the head is dry fitted, the
playing length measured and the appropriate amount is trimmed from
the tip of the shaft. |
|
|
|
|
 |
6.
Tip of shaft is abraded to ensure a proper bonding of the epoxy. |
|
7.
The ferrule is installed, the head is epoxied to the shaft with
the spine in proper alignment.
|
|
|

8. After
the epoxy has cured, the clubs are checked for swing weight and
any adjustment made using small quantities of tungsten powder
poured down the shaft and secured with a small cork.
|
 |
9.
Clubs are gripped with the proper size grip. |
| 10.
Each club is checked in a frequency analyzer and a charted profile
is created. |
|
| 11. Clubs
are cleaned, ferrules are turned down and polished & shaft bands
are applied. |
 |
13.
Lie and lofts are checked and adjusted as necessary.
14.
All metal wood clubs receive a head cover.
