| From
the time Darrell first sang, playing the banjo at age six, performing
on stage in senior's centers and benefit concerts, his destiny in
the arts was set. Starring in theatrical school productions at age
10 and continuing on into college and beyond has provided Darrell
with significant stage experience. |

Joining the
SPEBSQSA (Barbershop Quartet Singing Society) in 1976, Darrell formed
a quartet with some schoolmates.
The "Kids Next Door" quartet was the youngest registered
quartet in the society for many years as our ages were 13,14,15
& 16.

| Songwriting
soon took much of Darrell's time. While on the east coast of Canada,
Darrell recorded his first tune entitled "The Song of St. Andrews".
The song aired on CTV as a commercial promoting the bicentennial of
the town of St. Andrews-by-the-Sea. |

Darrell has been
music director for many choruses in both men and women's 4-part a cappella
styles. He coaches numerous quartets and soloists.

Darrell continues
to sing, and play piano, 12-string & 6-string guitar. Although
sailing, fishing, umpiring and golf tend to get in the way of work,
Darrell still finds time to relax with his wife Kathy, and three
children, Brendan, Stephanie and Alyssa
