Retreat
on the Ridge
The
cottages, each with a superb view of Cultus Lake, are
designed to give the illusion of rusticity, but were
designed and built with comfort and tranquility in mind.
They boast hardwood floors, home-milled cedar wainscoting,
Vermont stoves that are regulated with a flick of the
switch, extra-thick King and Queen mattresses with down
quilts, and antique-style pine furniture. The galley
area contains a small fridge, coffeepot, sink, dishes
and microwave. There is a barbecue on the covered sundeck.
Also provided are terry bathrobes and extra towels for
the hot tub, just a few feet up the path and over the
ridge. Enjoy the serenity, peace and quiet. Come hear
yourself think. Each cottage has a King bed on the main
floor; a ladder up to the loft leads to a Queen and
a Single bed.
The
1300 foot conference room nestled in the trees also
boasts hardwood, wainscoting, a gas-powered Vermont
stove, stone fireplace, a log-slab mantelpiece, and
comfortable armchairs and sofas. Antique-style pine
tables and chairs, flip-chart easels, portable screens,
TV, satellite and VCR make this room convenient for
presentations and workshops. There is also a log-slab
serving area for caterers to use. The conference room
can accommodate up to 60 people. Catering can be arranged
privately or through Retreat on the Ridge.
